Train from Rome Fiumicino Airport
There is a good train connection between Rome Fiumicino and Grosseto. There is a train about every hour that takes between 2.30 and 3 hours. At the airport rail station, you first need to take a train in the direction of
Rome and get off at
Roma Ostiense (after about 30 minutes). There are trains about every 15 minutes. At Ostiense, you have to change to a long distance train in the direction of Livorno/Pisa/Genova/Torino and get off in Grosseto. They leave about every hour. Every other hour, you can take an Inter City (IC) or Eurostar train that are faster, with mandatory seat reservations. You can find a detailed train schedule on

From Grosseto rail station, you can either take a taxi (about Euro 15-20) to the conference hotel or a shuttle bus that we may organize in main arrival times (details to be decided).
Train from Pisa Airport
There is a good train connection from Pisa airport to Grosseto. There is a train about every hour that takes between 1.45 and 2 hours. You need to change at
Pisa Centrale station. From Pisa, you have to take a train in the direction of Roma/Napoli/Reggio Calabria and get off in Grosseto. Trains leave about every hour with a faster Inter City (IC) or Eurostar train leaving about every second hour, with mandatory seat reservations. You can find a detailed train schedule on

Grosseto.
When you enter the terminal hall after arrival, the ticket office is at the far end on your right, and the train station at
the far end on your left, respectively.

Arriving from SOUTH (Rome) - NORTH (Livorno) - EAST (Siena)
On SS1 Aurelia frreway, exit at
Grosseto Sud, head toward Grosseto going straight on. In the direction for
Marina di Grosseto, turn left underr a large railway bridge, turn left again and then right at the next roundabout. Go straight on and after about 4 kilometres, you will see Fattoria La Principina estate on your left (see picture). Its entrance is about 500 meters forward on the left, just after the little village of Principina a terra. Enter the estate and follow the signs for the hotel.
